locked electrical gate offers security to the parking area and an added locked
security gate provides protection to the main entrance of the bottom apartments
and the stairs to the top apartment.
Coast/Beach
Barbados is a coral island surrounded by reefs and spectacular long white sand
beaches. It is one of the smaller islands and is the most easterly of the
Caribbean Islands measuring 21 miles by 14 miles. The west coast (also known
as the 'platinum coast') is a fringe of bays and coves along the sheltered,
Caribbean side of the island. As a result it is the best coast for snorkeling
as reefs are close to shore and the Caribbean Sea provides calm water.
Golf
Almond Beach Village golf 3 miles from the apartment-This is a 9 hole resort
course and offers an all-inclusive day pass for Bds$240 that includes dinner
and allows use of all its facilities. Smaller packages, such as a lunch pass
with golf, are also available. Phone 422-4900. For serious golfers visit
Sandy Lane golf course, golf at Sandy Lane with an impressive Club House
overlooking the 18th Hole of The Country Club Course and The Green Monkey.
The clubhouse serves the three Sandy Lane courses: The Old Nine, the Tom
Fazio designed Country Club Course and the spectacular Green Monkey Course.
Rockley Golf and Country Club and Royal West Moreland Golf Club are two more
of Barbados’ prestigious gold courses.
Travel
Seeing Barbados: Public transportation is excellent in Barbados, but hiring
a car for a couple of days is a great way to see Barbados at your own pace.
Great sites are Bathsheba, Animal Flower Cave, Harrison's Cave, the East
Coast Road, Crane Hotel, Sam Lord's Castle, and Farley Hill etc. Try a Safari,
catamaran cruise for snorkeling and swimming with the turtles, or even the
Jolly Roger cruise which includes meals and drinks!

3.2 miles from Speightstown, the second largest town in Barbados.
10 minute drive to grocery stores, shops and restaurants. Thirty minute bus
ride to Bridgetown. 45 minutes from Grantley Adams airport.

Heywoods Beach:
Located in the north-western parish of St.Peter, near to the town of Speightstown
(plenty shopping amenities and bars, is this wide, quiet beach (3 miles from
apartment)
Here you will find a large open area ideal for swimming, and smaller rock-enclosed
pools that are perfect for children to wade in. As with most beaches along
the west coast, the waters here are very calm.
The shallow reefs are good for snorkeling, and other water sports are available
nearby.
Around the corner the beach narrows considerably but there are still small
pools in which you can take a dip!
Deposit Information
A deposit of 25% of the total rental fee is required to secure a booking. This
deposit is non-refundable. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival.
In addition to the rental fee, a security deposit of $200 is required at
the time of the booking deposit. A security deposit is required to cover
any breakage or damage that may occur during your stay. This deposit is returned
to you in full within 14 days of departure if there are no damages.
